Casino (1995) is one of my favorite movies. Deception and greed may come between two mobster buddies–Robert “Sam” De Niro and Joe “Nicky” Pesci. Sharon Stone plays “Ginger,” Sam’s scandalous love interest. This film contains excessive profanity and sex scenes, true to its mobb story caliber. Not found on Netflix but should be!
On the flip, I discovered a more recent, milder Robert De Niro film on Netflix–Everybody’s Fine (2009). De Niro stars as “Frank,” a widower/father of four who struggles to reunite his children for the holidays. This tearjerker is all about life and family. Keep tissue nearby. I don’t recall any profanity. No sex scenes. Tearjerker!
Should you like Robert De Niro like I do, check out this movie recommendation which is currently on Netflix.
Check back in to tell me all about it. It’s ok to tell me that you cried like a baby. Everybody’s fine if you didn’t.
